Real people? Real life? Real passion for Christ?
The last one sounds like something from a church website but the first two?
When we say “real people” we’re saying that we are a church for people who know they aren’t perfect because we know that “real life” isn’t perfect.
Life is often messy and we are a people who don’t have it “all together.”
We are people with real flaws and real problems who recognize our need for God.
We want to create a community where it’s OK to not be OK;
where broken imperfect people wrestle with the tough and difficult issues of real life; where as we meet with each other we invite God to be with us and to help us.
We believe God doesn’t want to meet with us once a week in a building.
He wants us to meet Him and know Him at work, at home, at play;
everywhere we go.
Rituals, rules, regulations and routines are no substitute for a real passionate relationship with God.
